Actually allow me a moment of being a vocally decolonialist Jewish person on the side blog.

I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but question or recoil at the idea of landback in the United States.

I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but do not engage with and support their local Native and Indigenous communities.

I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but question the idea of granting Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, and US occupied land in the Caribbean sovereignty. Who go on vacation to the "US Virgin Islands" and Hawai'i.

I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but ignore the way our government actively starves and kills the people who live on reservations.

I do not trust non-Native, American goyim who claim the title of antizionist but do not think about repairing the damage done by our own genocides, our own ethnic cleansings, on the land we currently reside on.

If you are a non-Native, American goyim who claims the title of antizionist can you name the peoples who stewarded the land you live on before settler colonialism murdered and displaced them?

Isreal's ethnostate and genocide against the Palestinian people needs to end. Palestinians deserve peace, and prosperity, and reparations for the atrocities committed against them. But have you also looked in your own backyard recently? Because you are actively living in Isreal's end goal.

Wipe out the "inconveniences" and "prosper" for so long your own descendants hardly feel the aftermath beyond the "boons" while the descendants of the people you attempted to wipe out struggle and suffer under the effects of your colonization for centuries.

Question and rally against your own government's homegrown atrocities too because if you're not, you might just be looking for a convenient avenue for your own antisemitism instead of being genuinely anti-colonialist. If you really were against settler colonialism and the long term effects of genocide and ethnic cleansing you'd be rallying behind your Native neighbors too.

The comma between non-Native and American is intentional. I do not mean "non-Native American" as one adjective — they are two separate adjectives I am using to describe one particular kind of goyim.

i saw an instagram reel where someone said "i don't draw nsfw because it's kinda wrong..."

and like . it really baffled me. because people in the comments were AGREEING. and anyone who disagreed and said it wasn't wrong got called a "degenerate gooner", "porn addicted" or something along those lines.

purity culture has gone so far that if you even create sexual media that ISN'T taboo, you're suddenly the Worst Person Ever. it just sucks

parents were amazed how well the dogs walked on leash so in case this trick is more uncommon than I thought here’s my training technique

If a dog pulls on the leash just stop and stand there

that’s it that’s the trick you become a seat belt it works real fast. Start walking again if they stop pulling & even better if you wait until they look at you first (sometimes u might have to call them back to stop pulling if they are a bit dumb)

wow ok since this seemed to help people here’s my trick for getting dogs calm before we leave the house (this also works for crates and cars it’s pretty common)

I crack open the door a little and when they charge it, I shut the door. I am become video game. Butt on floor opens the door. I have them sit and then slowly open the door again. Get up? Door shuts. Sit down? Door slowly opens. After they’ve been sitting and the door is all the way open and they’re looking at me, okay we go outside.

Works fast and is so gentle and it’s really letting them be in control. If they want to go outside all they gotta do to open the door is to sit. Consistency is 99% of it

the thing with consistency is not that you are "winning" each interaction. It's that for your dog, you are the matrix. You are rendering his reality.

The most heartbreaking thing I've ever read was someone musing that when dogs dream, they probably dream of you. Are these good dreams? You're hanging out together having fun? Or bad dreams? He's in trouble? The person he loves the most in this world has rejected him?

Dogs don't generalize well. If you teach them to sit in the house, you've taught them to sit in the house. Now you have to teach them to sit outside too. The reason some dogs don't like to be pet and cuddled outside is because they've never been pet and cuddled outside.

Consistency is a tool to lock into his brain and really clearly show him what you mean. It's communication. I don't think my dog listens to me because he's been pavlov'd into muscle memory. It's because he knows what I mean and he likes me.

The thing to remember is your dog doesn't think they're pulling. Your dog thinks they're walking normally, and just happen to have a leash attached.

people getting mad at ao3 for rightfully being firmly against censorship and allowing dark fics that depict taboo subjects in explicit details to be on their platform is so funny to me because ao3 was created specifically to be a fuck you to capitalism and censorship. the point of ao3 is that it’s a place to host and archive any fanwork, which includes fanwork about taboo topics that are not allowed on other platforms like wattpad or fanfiction.net

the whole point of ao3 is that it’s a safe space for all fics, and that includes fics about taboo subjects

ao3 has always been firmly against censorship since the day it was created, that’s why it’s run by fans, for fans, on fans’ donations, why it’s a nonprofit organization, that’s also why it has no ads or algorithms or any of those capitalism bullshit

if you have a problem with that, go to fanfiction.net or wattpad. no one forces you to stay in the house made specifically for the (affectionate) freaks
